LR for sound video
  • Interesting choice of music but the initial thought is that in term of the feel it isn't completely parallel until the lyrics kick in. 
  • Selection of the images is good and consistent and the fact several contrapuntal images get a laugh is a very good sign.
  • Video may be added to evocative the song choice.
  • To short.
My own LR
  • Could of added videos what it flow better
  • When changing fro parallel and contrapuntal, it wasn't a big enough change for the audience.
  • The music i added took to long for the audience to understand what was parallel and what wasn't.

My top videos in the class

The first person that i will compare my work to is Ratna. At the being of the clip, the the mise-en-scene of the video was parallel to the music used. It has lot of romantic clip from movies that comportment the song very good.However, in my opinion the very first clip of the mountains didn't fit the song as it was more relaxing than romantic. Also, i think the text on screen was not needed when the video started and transitioned to contrapuntal because it give a unprofessional look. After the contrapuntal text on screen, the clip used was very effective as people in the class reacted to the clip. Overall, it was a good video.
The second person that I chose is Koral. The first clip had two people dancing. The parallel sound was very effective as the video was a couple dancing formally. They were wearing suits which added to the parallel sound. Listening to the music, people with stereotype that the music is for upper class that are very well educated. The second clip was very effective for contrapuntal sound as people I'm the audience laugh. When people have a reaction it means that there the clip is very successful as they were expecting it. However, the text on screen for what type of sound wasn't needed and it gave an unprofessional look.

Video feedback

·          3 minute rough cut status: rough cut delivered on time (visuals) – audio still to be added. ·          Comments on current filming: a lot of the editing is very, very good – really nice pace to the scene when the victim is bundled into the car. The one issue that may hold you back slightly is focus – particularly the longer dialogue shot of your character on the floor looking up. If this was a couple of seconds I wouldn’t be too worried but it’s actually quite an extensive shot. You could either re-shoot or re-edit and include more shots from other angles to hide the focus issue on the top-down shot. ·          The in-car shots just felt a bit weird – shooting over the shoulder by the door seems a strange choice when you have the option of shooting over the other should out the middle of the windscreen. Similarly, the camerawork is a bit too shaky when filming the dashboard. Look over these again to add a bit of stability and focus to this scene. ·          The main is
